The Opportunity: The Family Preservation Work Assistant provides case management assistance to the Family Preservation Team. The Family Preservation Work Assistant is responsible for assisting in family preservation responsibilities.

  • Supports the Family Preservation Worker in gathering and completing required documentation
  • Explores community resources for information and referral for families
  • Provides support to parents and caregivers in completion of forms and applications
  • Attend client appointments where the Family Preservation Worker is not able to attend
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) workers and other service providers

What You Will Bring to The Role

  • Minimum of two (2) years, certification/diploma or post-secondary education in a related field such as child and youth care, social services, or related Human Service equivalent preferred
