Work experience – 3 to 5 years of farming experience is required

Education – High school education is required, college diploma or degree an asset

Language –  Basic English

Job duties

• Manage the operations of the farm by organizing/co-ordinating planting, cultivating, irrigation, harvesting, recordkeeping and other farm activities
• Determine the amount and kinds of crops to be grown
• Establish marketing program
• Develop and keep financial and production records
• Purchase machinery and other supplies needed in the farm
• Arrange for repair and maintenance of farm machinery
• May hire /manage farm personnel
• May perform other farming duties
