Valleyview Orchards Ltd. is looking for 1 energetic Farm Manager for their farm located in Osoyoos, BC. This position is full time with 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week.

As a Farm Manager, you will be performing the following duties:

• Managing the overall operations of the farm
• Determining when and how many crops to grow according to the season.
• Ensuring fruits and vegetables are prepared, planted, and picked in a timely manner
• Planning, organizing, and delegating harvesting activities
• Hiring, training, and managing farm staff
• Ensuring that production records are accurate and well maintained
• Determining which farm equipment and supplies are needed and placing orders
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of farm machinery, equipment, and buildings

• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Salary: $25.00/hour for 40 hours/week .
• 4% Vacation Pay.

Requirements :

• 3-5 years of farming experience, obtained as a farm supervisor or specialized crop worker or by working on a farm.
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• English as a language is required.
