Valleyview Orchard Ltd. is looking for ten Farm Workers for their farm located in Osoyoos, BC. This position is full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Farm Worker, you will be performing the following duties:

• Planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, washing, sorting and packing of field crops etc.
• Maintain and operate farm machinery and equipment
• Check products for quality and prepare for the market
• Ensuring protection of crops from weeds and pests by taking appropriate actions like spraying pesticides etc.
• Use of fertilizers, detecting diseases and other health problems in crops.
• Write and maintain daily crop progress reports
• Keep all the tools clean and well maintained
• Perform other farm duties as assigned

Number of positions: 10

What we offer:

• $15.70 per hour
• 4% vacation pay of the gross salary
• Part-timers are welcome to apply.
