Shambhala Music Festival is looking for Software Support Techs to join our team of paid staff during the festival! Positions run various lengths between July 11-24, 2022 on the festival site near Salmo, BC. This position is for the tech-minded, logical worker. Computers should be your second nature, and you must be able to pick up software/learn/adapt quickly. Windows primary experience is a requirement.
•Provide technical assistance with computer software
•Provide swift problem identification and resolution, and reporting/escalation
•Some customer service/check-in tasks
•Working knowledge of networking and mobile devices
•Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
•Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction and exercise strong initiative, judgement and confidentiality
•Ability to learn and understand proprietary software systems quickly
•Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
•Interpersonal skills along with patience, understanding, proactivity, and a customer-friendly attitude towards immediate problem identification and resolution and excellent customer service experience
•Customer service experience as an asset
•Tech support experience an asset
•Festival Experience an asset Knowledge of support payment devices is an asset
•Windows OS certification or equivalent experience is an asset
