Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent
Wage: $28.00 per Hour, for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 14191 72A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 2R2
Work Location Information: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland depending upon company contracts.

Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school

Work Experience: Completion of 3-4 years apprenticeship program or 7 months – 1 year of experience as a Carpenter or Helper is required.

Language: English is required
