JOB SUMMARY:

The Food Service Manager reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Administrator of Iroquois Lodge. The Food Service Manager is accountable for all aspects of dietary services within the home to meet the nutritional needs of residents and to ensure the effective and efficient preparation and delivery of food to the residents. The Food Service Manager shall plan, develop and adapt menus within the Dietitian and supervise the staff of the dietary department within the policies and procedures established by Six Nations Elected Council.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current membership in the Canadian Society of Nutritional Management (C.S.N.M.) or a Registered Dietitian required
• Post-secondary education in dietary management and the successful completion of a recognized Food Services Program

OR

• Successful completion of a recognized Food Services Program
• Willingness to complete a post-secondary program in dietary management and become a member in the Canadian Society of Nutritional Management (C.S.N.M.)
• Dietary management experience in a long-term care setting
