KSS Drywall and Construction Ltd. is looking forward to expanding our ever- growing team of framers to manage our new construction projects. KSS Drywall and Construction Ltd. is currently wanting to hire 2 Framers. This will be a full-time position with 32 to 40 hours per week.

The Framer will be performing the following job duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Employment requirement:

• Some secondary education is usually required.
• 1-2 years of experience is required
• English as a language skill is required

What we offer:

• $26.50 per hour
• 4% vacation will be paid
