In-Home Nanny needed for 2 young children. $17-18 per hour for a 40 hr work week. Split shifts with the morning shift from 8:00am to 12pm and the afternoon shift from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Overtime occasionally may be required and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. One year of rlevant professional childcare experience required. Job located in Thornhill (Bathurst & Clark). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employers home. Public transportation is available.

Skills required: Supervise & care for children in employer’s residence. Plan, prepare & serve meals for children, perform light housekeeping duties. Oversee children’s activities, as instructed by the employer. Maintain a safe & healthy environment in the home. Instruct children in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of children & support their social development. Discipline children according to methods requested by the parents. Organize & participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading & outings. Communication and decision making skills are key. Must be flexible.
