Next Generation Indigenous Youth Professional Development Scholarship
AFOA Canada is offering professional development scholarships to Indigenous youth to attend the AFOA Canada National Conference in Montreal, QC, February 10-12, 2026, to learn about professional opportunities and strengthen their knowledge and skills.
The professional development scholarships include conference registration and travel-related expenses (travel, accommodations, and meals – following Treasury Board Guidelines).
National Conference Delegates (6), sponsored by CPA Education Foundation
AFOA Canada will award six (6) Professional Development Scholarships to Indigenous youth from Alberta
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be between 19-29 years of age, as of February 9, 2026.
- Must be from Alberta or studying in Alberta.
- Indigenous ancestry (First Nation, Inuit or Métis). Proof of ancestry is required.
- Must be pursuing a career in management, finance and governance (HR, Senior Administration, Leadership, etc.)
