Interior Health is committed to supporting the great efforts of our health care professionals due to COVID-19. In preparation for this challenging time, we are seeking Patient Ambassadors throughout the Interior Health region.
Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital located in beautiful Trail, B.C. is looking for a Patient Ambassador’s to join their team! This is a project position part time (0.47 FTE) until March 31, 2022. The Patient Ambassador’s primary role is to greet and engage with all individuals entering the building such as visitors, employees, and contractors, to ensure their attendance at the site is essential and to ensure non-essential visitors understand entrance restrictions. The Patient Ambassador supports the safety of patients and their families, and staff, by communicating information about visitor limits in a thoughtful and informative manner. This position performs a variety of clerical duties such as: • Identifies if a visit is essential by communicating with all people who present at points of entry for the assigned entrance or site by following the script and documentation provided for the role. Qualifications |
Education, Training and Experience:
Grade 12, one year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills and Abilities: **Please upload your High School Diploma and a Typing Test (min. 45 wpm within past 48 months) from a recognized institution. Online typing test are not accepted.** |
