The Produce on Kerrisdale (Sandy Farm Market) is hiring a permanent, full-time Produce Manager

Position: Produce Manager

Available Position: 1

Wage: $30.30 per hour

Work Hours:35.00 hours per week/ 5 days per day

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Benefits: 10 days paid vacation

Work Location: 2072 W 41^St Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6M 1Y8

Responsibilities:

-Manage activities related to stocking, pricing and rotation of merchandise.

-Mange ordering, receiving, display and sale of produce.

-Manage inventory, monitor freshness of produce and remove outdated products unsuitable for sale.

-Maintain accurate record of sales, purchases and transfers between departments.

-Comply with current local, provincial and federal regulations.

-Address and resolve customer concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.

-Train and evaluate new employees.

Requirements:

-Completion of secondary school.

-Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree is preferred.

-Minimum 2 years of managing experience.

-English is required
