Position Summary

If surgical nursing is your passion and you are a reliable, flexible and motivated registered nurse, we have an exciting permanent full time opportunity now available at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

This position works in our surgical floor, delivering excellent pre and post-operative nursing care with a strong team atmosphere amongst the welcoming team of RNs, LPNs. care coordinators and unit clerks. This surgical unit sees a broad range of surgeries from the following services: Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, gyne.

As the Registered Nurse you will work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, to ensure the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.

Shift types are days and nursing shifts are from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
