Job Duties

– Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
– Estimate food requirements and costs
– Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment as needed
– Train and supervise other staff and helpers in the kitchen
– Inspect kitchens and food service areas
– Manage kitchen operations
