Job description: One full-time, permanent Restaurant Manager is required immediately at our Dartmouth location. The pay offered is $15 per hour plus gratuities. The hours will be atleast 44 per week. 1 year or more of work experience is highly desirable in the same or similar industry. The standard benefits are included are as per collective agreement. The vacation pay is 4%.

Job Responsibilities:
• Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures to crew members.
• As a Manager, the duty includes setting up cash register(s) at open and verifying cash/sale at closing.
• Perform walk-through’s to ensure restaurant is ready to open/close and/or rush-ready.
• Work with Restaurant Management team to train, develop and communicate with crew members and Team in a way that maximizes retention.
• Manage, coordinate and delegate the execution of operations tasks and ensure compliance with all restaurant policies and procedures.
• Work with Restaurant Management team to ensure quality, production and service standards are met and to create a safe, efficient and professional environment for customer and other employees.
• Assist the Restaurant Management team in maintaining proper coverage via crew member schedules to ensure that the restaurant attains/exceeds all customer service standards.
• Follow up and ensure resolution of guest-related issues as needed.
• Focus on building sales and forecasting future performance in the restaurant
• Advanced understanding of all full-service restaurant operations
• Develop menus and item pricing accordingly
• Find new ways to promote the restaurant through trade and community events and follow advanced sales handling policies and procedures
• Update and change menu seasonally and in response to budgetary concerns
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain high customer service standards

A minimum high school graduate certificate with good English communication and comprehending skills is required.
