Position Title:
Retail Sales Associate

Location:
On The Run Convenience Store – Delta Town Pantry Chevron
9628 Ladner Trunk Rd. Delta, BC V4G 1K2

Duration:
Permanent, Full-time, Part Time

Salary:
$15.65/hour for 35 – 40 hours a week. Overtime applicable after 40 hours.

Positions available: 2

Anticipated start date:
As soon as possible (at the latest in 3 months)

Job Responsibilities:

• Cash register operation
• Identify price of goods and tabulate total payment using register and optical price scanner
• Greet customers
• Running customer service desk
• Ensure pleasant and efficient transactions for customers
• Receive and process payments by cash, credit card or automatic debit
• Wrap or place merchandise in bags
• Provide information to customers
• Calculate total payments received at the end of work shift and reconcile with total sales
• Receive and process payments by cash, credit card or automatic debit
• Provide information to customers
• Verify the age of customers while selling lottery tickets or tobacco products
• Stock shelves and clean-out counter area

Employment Requirements

No education or experience required.  Training will be provided.

Language: English

• Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure and fast paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Health regulations, safety standards and departmental and company policies should be followed in the work setup.
