The incumbent will work in collaboration with the Senior Manager – Digital advertising, search and UX, and is responsible for planning and execution of digital analytics reports for campaigns, appeals, senior leadership meetings and always-on digital marketing initiatives. Digital Marketing and an industry leading website are key drivers of the Society’s revenue generating strategies for fundraising at the Canadian Red Cross.

In this role, you will:

  • Leverage web analytics tools and other data sources to gain insights about users and to communicate campaign results to stakeholders

  • Manage relationships with relevant external vendors, information management teams and customer experience and retention team
  • Develop requirements documentation for analytics implementations and conduct quality assurance on analytics implementation work
  • Plan, launch and manage a variety of user experience and research projects such as usability studies, targeted surveys and card sorting tasks to help teams better understand website users
  • Support campaigns, site updates and other related projects by validating design assumptions with user research
  • Review and consolidate design feedback to ensure that all feedback and business requirements are communicated to the development team in a clear, concise manner
  • Serve as point of contact between development team and digital marketing team, helping communicate issues from either side
  • Serve as technical liaison between Philanthropy and in-house website development & creative teams, translating business requirements and design feedback into technical specifications – mainly related to UX testing.
  • Collect, refine, and consolidate technical requirements during large development projects and marketing campaigns

  • Experience running user research projects including usability tests
  • Knowledge in creating Data Studio reports
  • A strong understanding of conversion rate optimization and digital marketing best practices and metrics
  • Comfortable using both qualitative and quantitative data and communicating that data in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Experience using web analytics and test data to identify insights and drive change
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
