JOB SUMMARY: The Social Worker reports to and receives functional and direct supervision from the Administrator – Iroquois Lodge.

The Social Worker works in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to advocate and provide support and services to residents, families and staff of Iroquois Lodge.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate degree program in Social Work (preferred); OR
• Undergraduate degree program in Social Work
• Registered under the Social Work and Social Service Work Act, 1998
• 3 -5 years’ experience in long-term care setting preferred
• Resident advocate – focused attitude, with high emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with residents, families and staff
