SC Kim’s Taekwondo is located at #001-4603 Kingsway, Burnaby BC V5H 4M4.  We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Tae Kwon Do Instructor.  If you are interested, please submit your resume by mail or e-mail.

Position: Tae Kwon Do Instructor

Wages: CAD$20.00/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30-35 hours/week

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare lesson plans for all classes using WTF Tae Kwon Do rules, regulations, and requirements;
• Instruct and demonstrate students in Tae Kwon Do skills and techniques in group and private lessons
• Train Elite poomse and kyorugi athletes following approved high performance principles
• Schedule activities, keep logs and maintain records of lessons
• Monitor activities to ensure safety and ensure safety rules and regulations followed
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time based on the needs of the studio

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• 5^th dan WTF kukkiwon certification or equivalent internationally organized Black Belt
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Tae Kwon Do instruction
