Sethi Group of Companies Inc. o/a G.B. Truck and Diesel is seeking Truck Drivers to join our team at 16808 113 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 2X3. All candidates must be willing to join a team environment to strengthen and grow our current crew with a positive attitude and character.

We offer:

• Wage: $29.00 per hour
• Weekly schedule: 40 hours per week
• Vacancies: 5

• Full time permanent position
• Start date: as soon as possible

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Pay and receive payments for goods
• Perform brake adjustments
• Load and unload goods
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to speak English
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence
