The Thunderbird Partnership Foundation is a leading culturally centred voice on First Nations mental wellness, substance use and addictions in Canada. The organization supports an integrated and wholistic approach to healing and wellness serving First Nations and various levels of government, through research, training and education, policy and partnerships, and communications. Thunderbird strives to support culture-based outcomes of Hope, Belonging, Meaning and Purpose for First Nations individuals, families and communities. Thunderbird’s mandate is to implement the Honouring Our Strengths: A Renewed Framework to Address Substance Use Issues Among First Nations People in Canada (HOS) and the First Nations Mental Wellness Continuum (FNMWC) framework.
The Thunderbird Partnership Foundation is a division of the National Native Addictions Partnership Foundation Inc.

La Thunderbird Partnership Foundation est la voix principale à fondement culturel au Canada en matière de santé mentale, d’usage de substances et de dépendances chez les Premières Nations. L’organisme appuie une approche intégrée et globale pour la guérison et le mieux-être, en service aux Premières Nations et aux divers paliers de gouvernement, par le biais de la recherche, la formation et l’éducation, les politiques et les partenariats, et les communications. Thunderbird s’efforce d’appuyer des résultats basés sur la culture en valorisant l’Espoir, l’Appartenance, le Sens et le But chez les individus, les familles et les communautés des Premières Nations. Le mandat de Thunderbird consiste en la mise en œuvre d’Honorer nos forces : cadre renouvelé du programme de lutte contre les toxicomanies chez les Premières Nations au Canada (HNF) et du Cadre du continuum du mieux-être mental des Premières Nations (CCMMPN).
