35 Indigenous Students Participate in OFNIE Annual Summer Institute – McGill University

From July 2nd to the 23rd, 35 Indigenous students from Kawawachikamach and across Nunavik and Eeyou-Eenou Ischee participated in the Office of First Nations and Inuit Education (OFNIE) All-Partners Summer Programming at McGill’s downtown campus for the OFNIE Annual Summer Institute.

These students are in-community McGill learners who are completing their Education programs in their home or neighbouring communities. This year, students took part in inclusive education courses and an art course taught by Elisapie Gordon and Ulaayu Pilurtuut, two renowned Inuit artists from Inuit Nunangat.
