Alberta’s Climate Change Advisory Panel is hosting two open houses to gather input from Albertans on how they can contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Panel members and technical experts will be on hand to talk to Albertans about climate change, and exchange perspectives about acting on this important issue.

Calgary open house

Tuesday, September 1
5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Courtyard Marriott Calgary Airport
2500 48 Avenue NE

Edmonton open house

Wednesday, September 2
5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Chateau Louis Hotel and Conference Centre
11727 Kingsway Avenue

Anyone unable to attend these sessions can submit their ideas and proposals online through the Climate Leadership Discussions website and by filling out the online survey.

Input gathered through the Climate Leadership Discussions will be used to help form the foundation of Alberta’s new proposal to address climate change, which will be in place in time for the COP 21 world summit in Paris in December.
