Applications now open for NWT Arts Council members from the Dehcho, North Slave, South Slave, and Tłı̨chǫ regions

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) department of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) is looking for four individuals with a passion for the arts, culture, and heritage to join the Northwest Territories (NWT) Arts Council for a two-year term starting September 1, 2022.

Application deadline: August 1, 2022, at 5 p.m. (MST)

Council members provide recommendations to the Minister of ECE on financial awards for creative artistic projects in the visual, literary, media and performing arts, and on issues and policies associated with the arts and artists.
