In Victoria, British Columbia Premier John Horgan and provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry outline the province’s plan for the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. They are joined by Health Minister Adrian Dix and Dr. Penny Ballem, chair of the Board of Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. The premier says the province is planning its next phase of the vaccine rollout according to age groups. Mass vaccination will start in April, for people under 80 years old. It will begin with the oldest people of this group and will continue until every person over the age of 60 is vaccinated. (January 22, 2021)
