November 29, 2024 – Call for Citizen Input on Métis Ability-Based Care Guidebook
Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) is committed to improving healthcare resources for Métis citizens. To support this work, the MN–S Ministry of Health is creating a series of guidebooks to support Métis citizens as they navigate the healthcare system. We are currently in the process of creating a Métis Ability-Based Care Guidebook, which will serve as a comprehensive resource for citizens living with an ability-related condition, as well as their families and caregivers.
This initiative aims to address a wide range of ability-related conditions, including but not limited to mobility challenges, sensory impairments, chronic pain, and neurodivergence.
Ways to participate include:
- In person
- Phone call
- Submitting written, audio, or video statements
Participants will also have the chance to review and provide feedback on guidebook drafts. An honorarium will be provided for your time and input.
