Call of interest – youth representative

Are you between the ages of 16 and 24? Are you interested in working towards the common goal of reducing poverty in our territory? The Nunavut Roundtable for Poverty Reduction is looking for a youth representative to act in an advisory role by representing the youth perspective of the day-to-day realities of living in poverty.

The secretariat meets once a month with additional meetings scheduled closer to events. If you are selected, honoraria will be provided to compensate your contribution.

Applicants are asked to write a letter expressing interest or contact Tracy May at 867-975-5212 to explain why they want to be a part of the secretariat, and how they feel they can contribute to the work of the roundtable. The deadline to apply is January 30, 2017.

Have questions? Send an email to Tracy May at TMay@gov.nu.ca or visit www.makiliqta.ca.
