CESO National Volunteer Week
CESO National Volunteer Week
As part of Canada’s National Volunteer Week, we celebrate our CESO Volunteer Advisors who bring to life the values of volunteering. Your work with our clients translates into sustainable results that positively impact the lives of our clients, their families and the broader communities. Over the years, you have had tremendous impact in fulfilling CESO’s vision of creating stronger economies and better lives and we can’t thank you enough for that.
We are very proud to announce that ten CESO Volunteer Advisors have been awarded the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers this year. The Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers recognizes the exceptional volunteer achievements of Canadians from across the country. As an official Canadian honour, the medal pays tribute to the dedication and exemplary commitment of volunteers.
Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, will present the medal in person to one of our CESO award recipients, Dr. Ginette Gagné-Koch, during a ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. During her 17 years as a CESO Volunteer Advisor, Dr. Gagné-Koch has successfully completed a variety of impactful assignments in Canada and abroad, as well as serving as the Chair of the CESO Board of Directors.
