City of Iqaluit: Drinking Water Update – Additional Potable Water Available

by ahnationtalk on October 22, 2021262 Views

October 22, 2021

The City of Iqaluit has potable bottles of water available for residents over the weekend at the following times and locations:

Saturday October 23, 2021 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at Nakasuk School and the Arctic Winter Games Arena Complex

Sunday October 24, 2021 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Nakasuk School and the Arctic Winter Games Arena Complex

Household limits will be in effect throughout the water distribution. We recommend that this water be used for consumption only.

Residents are reminded to wear a mask, and that social distancing is required. Children are to be accompanied by an adult and require supervision at all times in water distribution areas due to the volume of vehicular traffic.

The City would also like to remind residents who are unable to pick water up from these locations that they can contact Water hotline at 867-979-5603, between the hours of 9AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday to arrange to have water delivered.

The City would like to thanks residents for their patience and understanding during this difficult time.
