The City of Toronto and the Toronto Public Library are hosting the sixth annual Career Information Event at the Toronto Reference Library tomorrow (October 26) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is part of Workforce Development Month.
Representatives from about 35 City divisions will be on hand to share information about the wide range of careers in Toronto’s municipal government. Speakers will provide tips on applying for City job opportunities.
Based on experience, organizers are anticipating that more than one thousand people will attend tomorrow’s event in the reference library’s Bram and Bluma Appel Salon. The Toronto Reference Library is located at 789 Yonge St. (a block north of Bloor Street).
Media note: Representatives of the City of Toronto will be available for interviews from 10 to 11 a.m.
