Conservatve Leader Pierre Poilievre speaks with reporters following his meeting with Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew at the legislature in Winnipeg. The two leaders discussed the upcoming federal carbon price increase, as well as priorities including funding for infrastructure and economic development in the province.

The Conservative leader faces questions from reporters about equalization payments for the provinces, and the landfill search in Winnipeg for the remains of two Indigenous women. The federal and Manitoba governments have each committed $20 million towards the search. (March 28, 2024)
