Economic development partnership between Saugeen First Nation and Town of Saugeen Shores – Hanover Post

Stronger together is goal of a new economic development initiative between Saugeen First Nation #29 and the Town of Saugeen Shores whose joint application to the First Nations – Municipal Community Economic Development Initiative (CEDI) was accepted.

The Town’s economic development officer Heather Hyde publicly announced the acceptance of the application at the Jan. 10 virtual committee of the whole meeting – noting the three-year application is just one of eight across Canada accepted for this phase of programming to improve the economic prosperity of SFN and the Town through joint community economic development planning and initiatives.
