Here are some events set for, or related to, Sept. 30, the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. Will you take part?

  • Sept. 24: The BC Lions play an Orange Shirt football game at BC Place, 7:30pm PDT, with a new orange team logo designed by Kwakwaka’wakw/Tlingit artist Corrine Hunt:
  • Sept. 25: 1030am-12pm PDT: UBC Vancouver’s Museum of Anthropology presents Honour with Orange: Lantern Workshop and Indigenous Stories:
  • Sept. 27: 11am-1pm PDT, UBC Chan Centre: film screening and conversation with Orange Shirt Day originator Phyllis Webstad.
  • From Sept. 27 to Oct. 1, Truth and Reconciliation Week 2021, an online event open to all Canadian schools from the University of Manitoba:
