Food, music and culture come together Oct. 10 as Southeast Advocates hosts its inaugural Taste of the Nations at Southeast College Estevan campus.
ESTEVAN — Food lovers will have the opportunity to sample a variety of cultural dishes during Southeast Advocates inaugural Taste of the Nations event for Estevan Oct. 10.
The event is at 6 p.m. at the Southeast College’s Estevan campus. Southeast Advocates settlement advisor Reanne Bert said the event is a celebration of food, culture and community that allows people to sample food from around the world while enjoying live entertainment.
“It’s a chance to meet people and share stories,” said Bert. “The food is being prepared by local community members and newcomers from each cultural group, who are all very excited to share authentic recipes from their own countries.”
