FNPA National SMR Forum with Indigenous Communities
FNPA with funding support from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has developed the National Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Forum with Indigenous communities bringing together industry and government interested in the development of SMRs and other clean energy technologies. We believe that when Indigenous communities are meaningfully engaged in the dialogue with industry and government it will lead to Indigenous economic reconciliation. SMRs specifically can be a great technology solution for northern and remote Indigenous communities which may help provide a more reliable source of clean energy and many other economic and career opportunities.
