GNU: Applications available for Victim Assistance Fund

The Department of Justice, through the Victim Assistance Fund, is accepting applications for victim assistance funding from individuals, organizations and institutions.
You may be eligible for funding if your proposed project offers:
- training geared to frontline service providers on the needs and concerns of victims of crime;
- direct services that help victims through crisis response, follow-up assistance, information and referrals; or
- public awareness on the rights and responsibilities of victims, available services, the criminal justice system and its procedures, as well any issues relating to victims of crime.
Other project proposals relating to victims’ assistance may also be considered.

The deadline for application is 5 p.m. January 19, 2022.
