Heart of Our Nation – Janel Munoa

by ahnationtalk on March 12, 20194276 Views

From southern California, rock vocalist Janel Munoa, from the Pachanga band of the Luiseno people, recently recorded her new album Howls from Deep in the Woods. Her first release, produced by Frank Gryner of Rob Zombie fame, was a hard-hitting disc of deeply lyrical material.

Janel begins speaking of her roots and beginnings in the Los Angeles area before moving into her new location in Massachusetts. Munoa then explains more about herself, her life, her development, and her writing processes that reveals the energy, quirk, and ceremony of her art that draws the audience into her world.
