Indigenous artifacts: Birch bark Tobacco holder

Tobacco has various uses in traditional Indigenous cultures. From prayers, offerings, ceremonies, medicine, and gifts, tobacco has been revered as sacred and has played a pivotal role in bringing communities together and fostering social ties. The birch bark tobacco holder displayed in the display case shows just one of the few ways tobacco is stored.
