Gearing up for an exciting summer construction season

The summer construction season is quickly ramping up, with more than 6000 women and men expected to work along Coastal GasLink’s project route at its peak. Our prime contractors are mobilizing crews to various sites along the project route to continue to progress Coastal GasLink’s most important construction season yet. With construction on Coastal GasLink approaching 65 per cent overall completion, the focus is on a strong start this summer to set the pace towards the many exciting construction milestones anticipated this year.

Cable Crane Hill – a feat of engineering

Cable Crane Hill, one of the many special sections along Coastal GasLink’s 670-kilometre route, has transported its first segment of pipe up the steep slope using the cable crane.
