LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) — You could soon see some street signs in both English, and a First Nation Language in Langley.
Council is looking at putting up some bilingual street signs in parts of the Township, and Fort Langley.
Coun. Eric Woodward brought the idea forward, and says he was inspired by other municipalities taking the step.
“I think I proposed it when I saw it on the Sea to Sky Highway. I saw that some examples exist on that freeway, and I thought that would be a neat idea,” he says.
He says it has a lot of support at the council table, but there’s no firm timeline for when we could see them on the streets.
