Legislative Assembly of Nunavut: 2021 Christmas Lights Across Canada Ceremony

IQALUIT, Nunavut (November 30, 2021) – The Legislative Assembly of Nunavut will join other Canadian jurisdictions in illuminating the territory’s official Christmas lights display as part of the 2021 Christmas Lights Across Canada program.

Speaker Tony Akoak said, “The annual lighting ceremony begins at 5:15pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Nunavummiut are warmly invited to join Premier Akeeagok at the event as we welcome the holiday season.”

Although the event will take place outdoors, attendees are asked to respect public health guidance regarding social distancing and the wearing of masks.
