Management Program: Spotlight on participants Jolianne Ottawa and Sébastien Desnoyers – FNEE

Jolianne Ottawa, Atikamekw from the Manawan community and director of health services at Masko-Siwin, has an inspiring journey with FNEE. Having participated in our Governance and Women’s Leadership programs, she decided to enhance her management skills by joining the cohort of our Management Program from November 29, 2023, to November 15, 2024.

Among her most memorable moments were the final days of the program, a time for introspection. By looking back over her career, she was able to “see how much she has evolved as a manager.”

Visiting Communities

Sébastien Desnoyers, Wendat from Wendake and Vice-President of the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC), joined the program with a clear motivation: to become a better manager. His goal was to equip himself with the best tools and knowledge to guide future generations. For Sébastien, the presence in communities is a true strength of FNEE programs: “It’s important to come and see the realities in the communities, learn, and share moments together…”
