Mary Cardinal Collins – 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient

From onihcikiskwapiwinihk (Saddle Lake First Nation), Mary Cardinal Collins is a residential school survivor who retained her Cree language and dedicated over four decades to advancing Indigenous literacy as an educator and cultural adviser.

2025 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient is the Alumni Association’s highest honour, it recognizes the outstanding lifetime accomplishments of alumni who have earned national or international regard or have had significant local impact as a result of their outstanding professional achievements and/or service to society.
