The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has announced the dates, location and hours for the upcoming MCA General Election 2024. One 3-year term Grand Chief position and 12 3-year term District Chief positions (four per district) are up for election. Nominees have been previously announced.

MCA GENERAL ELECTION VOTING

In person voting will take place:

Date: Saturday, June 29, 2024
Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Locations: St. Regis Recreation, Kawehno:ke Recreation & Tsi Snaihne Recreation

Advanced voting will take place by appointment only on June 12 and June 19 at the St. Regis Recreation Center from 4 – 6 p.m. Please contact CEO Theresa Thompson at 613-551-1622 or email chief.electoral.officer@akwesasne.ca to make an appointment.
