Media Advisory – Kiikenomaga Kikenjigewen Employment & Training Services (KKETS) Host Nutrition North Canada and Lakehead University Launching Two Projects

THUNDER BAY, ON: Matawa Wellness and Training Centre in the traditional territory of Fort William First Nation. The media event will be two parts, announcing two initiatives—one will announce federal investments related to the Nutrition North Canada program and the other, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) KKETS will be signing with Lakehead University (LU).
A representative will be providing remarks on behalf of The Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister of Northern Affairs, CanNor and PrairiesCan. Neskantaga First Nation Chief Wayne Moonias, Nishnawbe-Aski Nation Grand Chief Derek Fox, Matawa First Nations Management (MFNM) CEO David Paul Achneepineskum and KKETS Vice-President Lisa Echum will also provide remarks.
LU President Dr. Moira MacPherson, LU Provost/Vice-President Dr. David W. Barnett, MFNM CEO David Paul Achneepineskum and KKETS Executive Director will participate in the KKETS/LU MOU signing.
