The Honourable Bill Blair, Minister of National Defence, will be in Iqaluit to announce progress on increasing the Canadian Armed Forces’ presence and readiness across the Arctic and the North.

Date: March 6, 2025

Time: 9:00 a.m. EST

Location: Iqaluit Forward Operating Location, 1528 Ungalliqpaat Cres, Iqaluit, NU

On the day of the event, media should meet at 1528 Ungalliqpaat Cres, no later than at 08:30 a.m. in Iqaluit. A map will be provided upon registration. The media will then be escorted to the site.
