Media advisory – MP Rota to make a Government of Canada announcement to support community development in Antoine Nation

Mattawa, ON, May 22, 2024 – Anthony Rota, Member of Parliament for Nipissing-Timiskaming, will announce Government of Canada support for economic and community development in Antoine Nation. The announcement will be made on behalf of the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for FedNor.

MP Rota and event participants will be available for questions from the media following the announcement.

Highway 656 North – Mattawan Township

Directions: enter into Mattawa via highway 17 (from the west), take a left at the roundabout onto Main Street. Continue straight on Main Street, which will turn into Highway 533 North, for about 5km. Turn right onto Highway 656 North (sign for Le Cave), and follow Highway 656 North for approximately 2.3km. Enter at the gates for Antoine Nation.
