Media Advisory: Premier and Minister to Participate in Northern Lights Conference

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, will participate in the Northern Lights Conference tomorrow (Friday, January 29). The conference is taking place from January 27 to 30, at the Shaw Centre, 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa.

Premier Ball will provide a keynote address at the conference luncheon beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the Ottawa Salon.

Minister Mitchelmore will address delegates at the Newfoundland and Labrador Path to the Arctic session at 2:30 p.m. in Room 210, Second Floor.

The goal of the Northern Lights Conference is to showcase the best that Eastern Canada’s Arctic and North has to offer, with a focus on industry, tourism, arts and culture. More information on the conference can be found at https://www.northernlights.events/
