Media Notice – Deadlines approaching – Council of the Federation Meets in New Brunswick, August 8-10, 2007

OTTAWA, June 28 – Media representatives who wish to attend the Council of the Federation summer meeting must register by Friday, July 6, 2007. This applies to national media, as well as local New Brunswick media.

To register, please complete an online application for accreditation, which is available at www.gnb.ca/cf. Click on the link to Media Registration. Applicants will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. Media representatives are responsible for making their own individual reservations. Rooms have been reserved at the Crowne Plaza Hotel – Moncton. A local reservations representative can be contacted at 1-506-854-6340. Please reference Group Code PO7. Media representatives must make their reservations no later than July 6, 2007 in order to qualify for a special group rate.

A meeting of Premiers and national Aboriginal organization leaders will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8 in Moncton, N.B.
