Titles offer guidance, advocacy and knowledge, says Faith Roebuck Shergold
In June, we celebrate Pride and National Indigenous History Month. Here are some books to help you reflect and celebrate.
We love Robin Stevenson’s “Pride: Celebrating Diversity & Community,” a beautiful book for kids and families about how Pride came to be, how communities celebrate and what it means to people.
Telaina Erikson’s “Unconditional: A Guide to Loving and Supporting your LGBTQ Child” provides parents with a framework for helping their 2S-LGBTQIA+ child navigate a world that isn’t always welcoming. It includes tips on confronting bullying, guidance on becoming an advocate for gay children and advice on building a support system.
